We will be starting our jump rope unit over the next three weeks.  The students will learn three different forms of jump rope this unit; short rope, long rope, and Chinese.  This week we will be working with the short ropes.  The students will learn the how to measure their rope, how to hold it, how to jump, and the different type of jumps.  Some of the different jumps will be the single bounce, double bounce, backwards, running , rocking horse, and cris-cross.

Monday:             Intro/technique/single and double bounce

Tuesday:             Single and double/backwards

Wednesday:       Backwards/running/rocking horse

Thursday:            No PE

Friday:                 All jumps
